Certificate Information

The Energy Safety Canada certificate has several security features to prevent fraudulent activity and protect workers. Almost 200 fraudulent certificates were confiscated in 2019. Depending on course delivery, certificate appearances can vary, please see examples below.

All example certificates shown continue to be valid and should continue to be accepted on worksites if not expired. If you suspect a certificate may be fraudulent please contact Energy Safety Canada at 1.800.667.5557.

*Courses taught at an Authorized Training Provider may not be certified by Energy Safety Canada for up to five business days after course completion. Please contact ESC if course completion verification is required sooner.
