Confined Space and Asphyxiant Resources

These Confined Space and Asphyxiant resources are the result of a creative sentencing project in partnership with the Government of Alberta and an energy servicing company, that includes three modules spanning 2023-2026.

Module 2 – Confined Space & Asphyxiant Hazards Video Series

Four 5-minute videos will outline the different types of asphyxiants, where they can be found in the energy industry, the hazards they present and the controls required to protect workers.

Module 3- Confined Spaces – Guidance to Build Capacity

Self-paced learning segments covering all aspects of confined space work that will take learners 1.5 to 3 hours to complete and address the safe planning and execution of this type of work.
