Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Energy Sector

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) in the Energy Sector is a new 10-part webinar series from Careers in Energy and Energy Safety Canada that aims to identify key challenges and opportunities in addressing the diverse needs of the energy workforce. Hear directly from our panel of experts to expand your knowledge on this important topic that impacts the industry and its workers. 

Each webinar in the series will focus on a different aspect of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) that reflects individuals' unique experiences; highlights best practices and resources; and encourages equal access to employment and supports for equitable hiring, training and promotion opportunities.  Participants will learn about key issues, challenges and opportunities surrounding DEI in the workforce and will take away strategies and resources to further their journey towards becoming a DEI champion. 

Upon Completion

Upon completion of the webinar series, participants will earn a digital badge, identifying them as a DEI Champion. The digital badge can be added to your Linkedin profile, to Facebook and X; and included on your resume, instructions will be provided upon course completion.
