Inter-Provincial Workplace First Aid Requirements Planning Guide

All companies are responsible for ensuring that the appropriate number of personnel at a particular work site are trained in first aid. The guide lists first aid training requirements, the process for employers to have out-of-province first aid certificates recognized between BC and Alberta, and course equivalences being recognized in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan. This document has been reviewed and approved by WorkSafeBC, Saskatchewan Labour and Work Safe Alberta.
